'We Are Stronger Together' was a series of medals that had the concept that when someone is on their own, with problems, issues and worries they are fragile. Yet when we all come together and help each other we can become strong, as individuals and as a collective.

 

The medals were made in response to the competition by the British Art Medal Society 2016. I created two laser cut wooden versions and one pewter version, each with the same colour thread woven within them.

 

The collection of medals were then displayed in Craft in the Bay Cardiff by the Makers Guild Wales.
