As part of the Four Rooms project we came up with cushions which reflected nostalgia for us. Our inspiration came from Love heart sweets but we mixed them with slang words that were around when we were growing up. These included 'wicked', 'lame' 'as if' and 'my bad'. The words were digitally stitched on to white moleskin fabric which we chose because the soft nature reflected the dusty sugar top of Love Heart sweets. The heart around the words was very carefully free hand stitched and then the construction of the cushion with a zip matching the colour of the thread was used.
